When the storm hit after Jonah ran from God, the heathen on board were looking for the cause. It was Jonah's fault. The believer. Not the heathens fault.
America is heading for destruction, and it is time for the church to wake up. If you look around at the various denominations, there isn't much hope. Wheat and tares are yoked together, attending church Sunday mornings and R rated movies Sunday night without any concern, with one foot in the world and one foot in the church, and you can't tell them apart. These churches are worldly, carnal, and fruitless. Very few of these are actually saved anyhow.
Without holiness the Bible says, no one will see the Lord. When you use the world to draw the world, you will look like the world. The world needs to see God in you and your church to have any chance they will embrace the Christ of the Bible and get born again. The world does not see much God in the churches today, and if lost folks are comfortable to smoke a joint and rock on with your worship service, that will not help them see their need for something not of this world.
I'm writing to the small remnant where we might make a difference, the Independent Fundamental Baptist Church. If you built a church completely on what the Bible says, you would end up with a Fundamental Independent Baptist Church. The problem is most of these today are not modeled after Jesus Christ and the book of Acts, but modeled after a Dr. So and So who built a big church, such as a Dr. Jack Hyles. AW Tozer said true revival will affect the moral climate of the world around you. These churches are big number places, yet their church members and their towns rarely exhibit any sort of holiness. There is mere external conformity and Madison Avenue high pressure sales tactics to boost membership and their is pride over the size and it looks impressive. Yet it fails to impact the world with holiness. It fails to lift up the True and Living God and often lifts up men just as much as Popes get lifted up.
The true Baptists were always separate from Rome, never under influence of a state church. However, after spending 3-4 years in the New Evangelical movement, and going full speed ahead once I found the Independent Baptists, I am afraid if we are going to make a difference, we need to start looking at our planks first, and start turning from our wicked ways.
We still have the torch, but we are slowly picking up some bad habits, and worldly thought processes, and dangerous heresies and if we don't radically amputate them the gangrene will spread and kill the whole movement. And after that friend, there isn't much left.
What can we count on? Hundreds praying at the Ecumenical 9/11 memorial service? The Chapel at Cross Point and the other hard rocking, put your right foot in and shake it all about services? Kingdom Bound? I trow not!
Here are some errors we need to fight, be aware of, and repent of!
1. A big one is our Unquestioning Loyalty Position and elevation of man. There are Pastors I love, but there is a tissue paper of difference between respecting and loving a man of God and worshipping him in place of God. One is church submission and obedience to authority that more often than not, we are being rebellious if we fight God given authority. Yet the other side of the coin is the churches that have their deacons stand up and sit down like trained circus seals and the pastor hands them a drink with the skull and cross bones on it and they drink it to prove their "loyalty". If we see something we disagree with our tendency is to whine about it and run our mouths where we are called to come with a spirit of meekness and approach the leadership. What I am against is the movement that you can't approach the leadership about anything and the ultimate sin is judging. For example, there are multiple pieces of evidence to prove Pastor Hyles had an ongoing affair with his secretary. His son and daughter saw things, those on staff had great concerns, the secretary's husband comments are sound, and on and on. Pastor Hyles son was a repeated adulterer and boasted he would never get caught to a friend of his because he said he has way much more on his dad. Pastor Hyles would look outside his window and look for her to flash the lights in the house and he would drive over there. There was a secret door linking their offices together. On and on, and he wrote a book called Justice that forbid anyone from going "bottom up" to report problems and concerns. You could only go top down. Meaning a lay person had no right to accuse the staff above them about anything or they were automatically sinning. This created more of a cult than a church. Pastor Schapp followed in his footsteps and is in jail now for sexual relationships with a 16 year old girl. Jack Schapp is Pastor Hyles son in law. That is what I mean about unquestioning loyalty.
What I mean, is in theory we are taught to search the scriptures and see if these things are so. In practice, however, we don't expect anyone to have anything bad to say against us. Should we be confronted, though we seem to write off the critic and attack him or blacklist him.
This happens a lot in most Bible colleges and is especially seen in the Hyles Anderson College. Pastor Jack Hyles taught what Benny Hinn teaches today--- if accused at all they use the verses Touch Not God's anointed and Do thy Prophet no harm. Many circles today believe in this elevation of man and this idea that the leader is infallible and above reproach. Many Pastors are humble men and don't go for that sort of thing, but some of that mind set is in our circles, whether it comes from a visiting evangelist or an assistant, or a layman.
It is very confusing where we stand. If we search the Bible and see error, we are not being rebellious many times. If God shows us something, we are supposed to bring it to that leader with a spirit of meekness and reprove and rebuke. However, what I see is those that do what the Bible commands are put down, pushed down, and not selected over men who are Yes men and have that unquestioning position. I can't hold that position and be loyal to the Lord.
2. The big influential men taught a wrong definition of repentance and often times that mixes into our evangelism. Jack Hyles and Curtis Hudson redefined what repentance means, rejecting clear scripture, Webster's 1828 dictionary, and our Baptist forefathers position. They taught that since (from their reasoning) that since unbelief is the only sin that sends a person to hell, then repentance is merely going from unbelief to belief , and repentance is merely a change of mind. True salvation is turning to Christ in true repentance and as you turn to you also immediately and naturally turn away from your idols and sin. You don't stop sinning but you do repent of the sinful nature that is in rebellion against God. You miraculously become a new creature that naturally craves the things of God and naturally can't enjoy the things we once did. Salvation produces a new creature. Period.
3. We often preach against the sinner's prayer, but in practice many folks practice the sinner's prayer. A prayer does not save. Believing a prayer does not save. Reading a hall mark sympathy card does not mean you are sorry. The Bible teaches salvation is Repentance and Faith.
We teach by our actions that salvation is "Pray and Ask the Lord to save you". The sinner's prayer came about during the DL Moody days...the Romans's Road came about from Jack Hyles in 1940ish. Both are shallow, emphasize heaven and the blessings of God in exchange for "admitting you are a sinner", and comes down to a if-you-want-to-go-to-heaven-then pray-this- prayer deal of a lifetime. It appeals to our selfishness and minimizes God's holiness.
It turns the Lord of Lords and King of Kings into a 2 minute get-your-flu-shot just-in-case too-good-to-pass-up marketing gimmick. It makes two fold children of hell!!!!!!!
The reason most of our young people leave church is they are not saved! The reason we lead 100 to the Lord during our latest outreach and not one comes to church is they are not saved!
The reason you say, "I already did that" when someone makes you upset when they challenge your ungodly life with the true Gospel is YOU ARE NOT SAVED!
The reason that church members are getting more worldly and care less and less about the things of God is most of them ARE NOT SAVED!!!!! Make sure you are truly born again!
There are others, but let's work on those 3 first! And then we can go after the lost!

Don't Miss the BOAT!
"Jesus is coming, better be ready, maybe at noon or the midnight hour." says a Ron Hamilton song.
The bible likens the LAST DAYS to the days of Noah, just prior to the flood. God was disgusted at the condition of men, "And God saw the wickedness of man was great in the earth...And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast...And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt;....And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is FILLED WITH VIOLENCE through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth...Make thee an ark of gopher wood:" --Genesis Chapter 6.
God then flooded the entire earth, from above with 40 days and 40 nights of rain, and from beneath from water in the earth's crust. Evidence of this is obvious to the true Bible believer, oblivious to the Bible scoffer, critic, and evolutionist.
This worldwide flood was about 4,300 years ago. The earth was very different before the flood. It had hyperbaric conditions, and possibly a canopy of water or ice surrounding the earth which protected man from the sun's harmful radiation. Man lived to be several hundred years before the flood. A brachiosaurus had the nostrils of a horse and could not breathe nor survive in today's atmosphere. Oxygen content was about double that of today.
They find air bubbles in tree sap (just like "Jurassic Park") but there is nothing PRE-HISTORIC going on-- it is simply PRE-FLOOD.
The earth was covered in plants and during the flood that became all the coal and natural gas they find today, the fountain of the deep broke up and the entire earth was covered in water. The flood left evidence, proved God hates sin and does pay attention to our rebellion against him, and the flood proved that we need to have a healthy fear of God and take his WARNINGS seriously.
The scam of evolution has hoodwinked many to think that the layers are millions of years. These flood denying geologists give each layer a date and an index fossil, dating the fossils by the rocks, and rocks by the fossils. That is circular reasoning. Carbon dating does not work because the earth is not millions of years old --we have not reached equilibrium yet!
They don't tell you they date LIVE mollusks to be 30,000 years old. They date live NEW lava to be millions of years old. They date wholly mammoths and the tusks date thousands of years longer than somewhere else on the animal. Carbon 14 dating, and radiometric dating, does not work! The sun is shrinking as it burns. If this earth was actually millions of years old, there would be a point if you go backwards where the sun would have touched the earth!
God made an adult expanding universe 6,000 years ago. If you GO BACKWARD and SKIP when GOD made it, you will end up at the IMPOSSIBLE Big bang dot of dirt and matter. A creationist once said either you believe IN THE BEGINNING GOD...or In the Beginning DIRT.
The Big Bang takes amazing blind faith to believe that all you see today came from a chaotic explosion. Folks missed the boat during the days of Noah. They never saw rain before (God previously watered the ground from beneath with the water chambers below the earth) and didn't take Noah seriously. Hence they did not take God seriously and LITERALLY MISSED the BOAT.
Today there are so many nuts who claim to represent God -- Benny Himm, Rick Warren, Harold Camping, Joyce Meyers, and Joel Olsteen, to name a few -- that those that actually might have something TRUE to say FALL ON DEAF EARS!!!!!
After the flood, the lies of evolution caused many to MISS the BOAT, falling for MILLIONS OF YEARS to appease their conscience. And many today will MISS THE BOAT when Jesus returns because they don't FEAR GOD and tremble at his WORD, because they believe LIES OF MEN over the TRUTH OF GOD.
Most pastors in all denominations, PRIESTS (who believe the false Catholic church's doctrine), the MEDIA, RELIGION in ALL SHAPES AND SIZES, SCIENCE falsely so called, psychology, Hollywood, the GOVERNMENT, and the EDUCATION SYSTEM literally HATE THE GOD OF THE BIBLE and want things their way.
God's way interferes with our sinful lifestyle, and GOD is commanding all men everywhere to repent. Most will ignore God, live with seared consciences, and MISS THE RAPTURE BOAT! The Bible says in the end times SCOFFERS will deny the FLOOD and ignore the evidence the flood left behind, and hence they too will be LEFT BEHIND.
See 2nd Peter 3. Where is the promise of his coming? They ask. (2nd Peter 3:4). Knowing this first, that there shall come in the LAST DAYS scoffers, WALKING AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS. Lusts caused mankind to mock NOAH and miss the boat (the ARK) during the flood. Lusts caused mankind to miss the evidence of the flood and learn from the WARNING and they instead embrace the evolution FAIRY TALE! Lusts caused mankind to miss the boat and the clear prophecies of Jesus the Messiah when he came the first time!
And LUSTS will CAUSE MOST FOLKS to miss the Boat the final time when Jesus RETURNS! HE promises he will not send another WORLD WIDE FLOOD but HE does STATE WITHOUT APOLOGY that He will destroy HIS EARTH by FIRE. Mankind won't destroy the earth by failing to recycle or depleting the rain forest or not saving the whales, so those trying to save MOTHER EARTH are in for a rude awakening!
You would be wise to heed FATHER GOD and forget about Mother Earth. She doesn't exist.
It is God's planet and we are his creation. He has the right to do with us as he wishes. If I made a batch of cookies and they came out terrible, I could throw them out and re-bake them if I wanted! If I hatched a bunch of Sea Monkeys and they ended up trying to kill each other, I could flush them away and get a new set. (Though today I might get charged with cruelty to animals!)
We are created with FREE Will and not robots, but that means God has given us the free will right to accept or reject God. To believe the truth or embrace a lie. Live how you want, but know there's a BIG COST. Evolution will look very silly when you are face to face with the God of the Universe. Hell is full of ex-atheists. Stop letting our God rejected world PROGRAM your MIND to brainwash you from even considering the things of God. God wrote ONE BOOK that we will be judged by, like it or not. Believe it or Not. He is coming and there is not one thing you can do to stop it.

The more you read the Bible and the more you see how your thoughts don't line up with his holiness, the more you will wonder WHY GOD is waiting so long! That is what knowing God produces. I love Him because he first loved me. The Bible says in 2nd Peter, that HE is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The problem with America is no one fears God because all that has been shown for the past 100 years is a loving God who loves you too much to send you to hell. Jesus loves you but hates your sin. He can't change his holiness but he did provide a way of escape. Hell doesn't make sense to the religious but lost because they believe a false Jesus created in their own image. Yes God is merciful but God demands and commands all men everywhere to REPENT.

SIze 3 Christianity in a Size 6 World
This blog post stinks. Literally. It is about diapers. They stink, they are expensive, they are something you don't want to forget when you leave home. I actually have 4 unofficially in diapers right now. My older 2 (ages 4 and 5) are toilet trained but we put them in one overnight. My almost 3 year old is temperamental and he will use the toilet if constantly reminded. My 1 year old is a big baby and wears the same size as the 3 year old. In fact they all will fit in size 6 diapers right now.
Diapers go by size, from newborn to size 6. Your baby is in newborn for a week it seems but that is the size everyone gives you at the baby shower. Then size 1 all the way to size 6. Then if still in diapers there are overnight bigger sizes and then one day we go back to diapers and that size depends on which Depends you buy.
Doesn't seem like much progress. Sadly when the church is doing the same thing someone should do something about it. When your "senior saints" are still wearing the same Size 3 diapers 20 years later they wore when they first got "Saved" at your first revival service, something is wrong.
Sooner or later they will outgrow them and you will know by the smell produced. It will soon be revealed they never bought larger and larger diapers as more was dumped on them in the church house. They were placed into grander and more prominent positions yet were not toilet trained and off the temper tantrums.
The other day the size 4's were not in the right spot. I bought what I thought was size 6 as the box looked the same, bright orange and Hippo on them. The size 4's were where the 6's usually were and it wasn't until I put it on during a diaper change that I noticed it was too small. If it just sat in the box I would not have known it was too small to cover the potential messes that diapers are supposed to absorb.
I believe God showed me a lesson in this.
Today's Christianity is proving to not be big enough to cover the big messes life is starting to throw at us. Before the catch on the church has been asleep because everything was going fine in the world for lost and saved alike. God's blessings on our country came to a screeching halt and now everyone is scrambling to figure out what to do. Unless they are too lulled asleep by the entertainment industry to notice.
It is becoming painfully obvious to everyone but the church that the church needs to wake up and put on the garments of Jesus not the world's too small diapers. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. The worldly diapers of relgion contain the stink and mess until the load is too great. We mask the smell with baby powder and because everyone around us smells too we fit in and no one thinks it is us. But the whole world is going to hell because they can't smell Jesus on enough of us to see there is deliverance for the worlds messes.
The economy is crashing, the world is going to hell, Jesus is coming any day, and the devil is working overtime right now as he soon is going to be dethroned and out of a job. We go to church, glance at our bibles, give lip service to God, and flip on the Christian TV channel during halftime when we are being really spiritual, but that is the extent for most. Our prayer life is asking for the new flat screen TV to go on sale and for the raise to come through because we haven't ate steak in 4 days. Our churches are full of devils and false converts and they are comfortable sitting in our pews because they don't see much difference in us except our nice pressed suits. We have baby showers for the out of wedlock moms and coo and goo over their children who grow up without a father. Doesn't matter anyways, as most dads today are self absorbed, texting away like teen agers at bounce-magic and Chuck E Cheese when they are out with their family at a family outing, and looking at porn on the internet when they are away from them. The only difference between us and them is we have nice suits and ties over our soiled diapers and they have dirty clothes and ripped t shirts over their soiled diapers. If you get close enough, the lost and saved smell the same.
We also don't realize that our diapers are leaking and spilling over because the size is too small to cover today's world. We are supposed to obey the Bible and the truly saved will grow out of diapers pretty quick and go on to walk on their own. We can't smell the mess because everyone around us has soiled their diaper too. The solution is not to just add bigger diapers. The solution is to see our way of just pretending we are clean when we live like the world is not working. We don't need to just add Fabreeze and baby powder and change to Depends and change our spiritual diapers more frequent. It is time for the true Christians to rise up and see there is something wrong because the world around us is not getting holier. We stink like the world and the world is getting stinkier and stinkier. We can shout praises to God all we want and sing loudly and come boldly but God sees we have never been potty trained and we stink in the nostrils of ALL MIGHTY GOD. He wants us to come to him to get clean, but we think everything is wonderful. Our churches are full and people are rocking. Our offerings are up and people are clapping and tears are shed. But where is the agony over sins? Why are we not fed up with the stink coming out of us? We think the smell is coming from the lost sitting next to us, but that smell comes right from us but we think we smell sweet.
The church needs to repent and wake up first.
Then we will have something to bring this lost and dying world. Until then we are just like the stinky soiled 3 year old who just pooped his pants and is comfortable playing in it because he has the Huggies little Movers. We are comfortable yet stink just like the world. And we turn our noses at the lost and are content to sit in our soiled diapers until the rapture.
Oh that something would wake up the church! My fear is even missing the rapture won't be enough.
Diapers go by size, from newborn to size 6. Your baby is in newborn for a week it seems but that is the size everyone gives you at the baby shower. Then size 1 all the way to size 6. Then if still in diapers there are overnight bigger sizes and then one day we go back to diapers and that size depends on which Depends you buy.
Doesn't seem like much progress. Sadly when the church is doing the same thing someone should do something about it. When your "senior saints" are still wearing the same Size 3 diapers 20 years later they wore when they first got "Saved" at your first revival service, something is wrong.
Sooner or later they will outgrow them and you will know by the smell produced. It will soon be revealed they never bought larger and larger diapers as more was dumped on them in the church house. They were placed into grander and more prominent positions yet were not toilet trained and off the temper tantrums.
The other day the size 4's were not in the right spot. I bought what I thought was size 6 as the box looked the same, bright orange and Hippo on them. The size 4's were where the 6's usually were and it wasn't until I put it on during a diaper change that I noticed it was too small. If it just sat in the box I would not have known it was too small to cover the potential messes that diapers are supposed to absorb.
I believe God showed me a lesson in this.

Before the catch on the church has been asleep because everything was going fine in the world for lost and saved alike. God's blessings on our country came to a screeching halt and now everyone is scrambling to figure out what to do. Unless they are too lulled asleep by the entertainment industry to notice.

Lucky Charms Christianity
A good way to describe the degenerate falling away of Christianity is to look at a box of Lucky Charms.
First a little background. One good thing about having young boys in the house is you can justify buying the kids cereals. I still think Cheerios is the greatest breakfast item since sliced bread became french toast, but there are some good kids cereals out there. My all time favorite was Pac Man though. It had the corn puffs like KIX and the marshmallows like Lucky Charms. A very original combination that has never been duplicated. What is confusing about Lucky Charms is it basically is the oat cereal of cheerios with marshmallows, but even though I love Cheerios, I could never stand for a marshmallowless bowl of Lucky Charms. When I understand why, I may have another post on my hand. Not Post like the cereal either.
Anyway, there is a big difference between the first bowl of Lucky Charms and the middle bowl and the last bowl.
First bowl has almost a 50 50 proportion of the magically delicious marshmallows and the blah boring toasted oat cereal that is mixed with in. I don't even know the shapes of the oat cereal but I can picture the marshmallows. When you eat a middle bowl, there is about a 20 80 proportion of marshmallow to cereal. It is not the same. And when you get to the end, there are maybe 2 or 3 marshmallows in your bowl and a bunch of crumbs and powder and it is fairly stale.
Toward the end there is not much left that is very appetizing and there is a whole bunch of dust mixed in. Little sweetness, little color, little to look forward to, and very little taste or flavor to satisfy the appetite or sway someone over another cereal. In fact the only thing to look forward to with the final bowl is just the new box in the cupboard.
The Bible says things will get worse and worse in every way toward the end. The bible says there will be a great falling away. Jesus return is our blessed hope and what we have to look forward to.
Until then, we need to get right and turn to him more. WE need to resist the devil and expect it to get worse. And now is when we can get influence. Tell people the world is going to get worse and worse and more violent and more unpredictable and worse weather because the Bible says it will get worse. But tell them about the new box. The NEW BIRTH that is available when you get saved. And when you get saved, you get spared.
Jesus is going to dump that final bowl of the marshmallowless, tasteless, and crummy state of this false form of Christianity just like everything else upon his return.
Don't be in that bowl. Be in Christ instead.

Will the REAL JESUS CHRIST Please Stand Up?
I wanted to tell you about some folks I know.
Here are the names of my friends. Have you ever heard of these guys? I know Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Tim Tebo, George Bush, and Osama Bin Ladan.
I would like to tell you about them.
My friend Michael Jordan, he is so funny. He is this 300 pound white guy from Texas and his favorite hobby is backgammon.
Tiger Woods is obsessed with ping pong. He is this 4 foot tall man who grew up in the jungles of South America, and once fought off 3 tigers with a ping pong paddle, hence his name.
Tim Tebo I knew in college. He is such a nerd, and wears these big thick black rimmed glasses and has this wild white hair and a big bushy beard. He is now the leading physics professor at my school.
George Bush and I were buddies at our college. He has this thick Italian accent and the little Italian mustache and he opened the best pizzeria in town now.
Finally, my friend Osama is this high strung black guy who never shuts up. He is always cracking jokes. He now works at Subway and just got married.
Now, I would think by now you should know I am not talking about the same people you thought I was when I mentioned their names.
That is exactly the same thing when you say Jesus.
The big question is WHAT JESUS?
The real Jesus is the Jesus revealed in the King James Bible. He is the God who created the universe, the God who was born of a virgin in a manger 2000 years ago, and the God who died on the cross for our sins and rose again the 3rd day.
The problem is most churches and most religions and most people take those facts and do one of the following ---- 1. Diminish his power and authority. 2. Place doubts over who he is 3. Deny who he is or 4. Distort his identity.
If you start changing who you are talking about soon you are talking about someone completely different all together.
A false Christ cannot save because it is a powerless Christ.
The real Jesus Christ will change your life forever. And your eternal destiny.
Today's Christianity has turned the Holy Jesus of the Bible, the Jesus Christ who loves truth and is merciful yet still is against sin and still warns on hell, into this soft teddy bear who loves humans so much that he couldn't possibly send anyone to hell. Yes God is forgiving, but God is also a just God. To ignore certain characteristics of God and emphasize what is politically correct today changes Jesus into an idol, a god made in our image. We may be more comfortable with that Jesus because we made him to suit our sins and conform to our image. We need to conform to his.
For example, the catholic church changed Jesus. In this church, Jesus' authority is wrongly put on par with their traditions and church teachings. If Jesus said one thing and the church said another, they go with church having final say. That is blasphemous. The Bible is Jesus on paper and it must be our final authority because it is God's WORD not Man's opinion.
If you go against his very WORDS and then claim you represent the real Jesus you are insulting Him and you are presuming He is ok with that. What if I took your autobiography about your life and changed events and things you did and said and then said I know you. I did it without your permission. I did it to make who you are fit in my position better. I changed things about you that I didn't agree with. Would you be happy with me? Would you think, well, at least they are sharing my life with people, I don't care if half of it never happened?
Why do we think God would be any different?
I used to be Catholic. I am not going to be loyal to something that is damning my family, damned my ancestors and are deceiving millions. Jesus Christ honestly hates anything and everything that steal his right to be worshipped. He made the sun moon and stars but people are impressed with a church because a man built an impressive place. God is a jealous God, that is again one of his attributes. That is according to the Bible. According to our current opinions that flies in the face with how we want to live, so we reject that in "our Jesus".
The Bible says we are saved by FAITH, it is by grace we are saved not of works.
Catholic church says WORKS plus grace.
The Bible teaches baptism is AFTER salvation. It is an outward fruit AFTER salvation. FRUIT is what Christians produce after they are saved. WORKS are what religion teaches TO BE SAVED. And there is a movement today of modern CHRISTIANITY that says since WORKS DO NOT SAVE, I can live however I WANT ONCE I AM SAVED. If there is no fruit after salvation, you never met the Savior. When you truly get saved you are never the same.
The Catholic church teaches baptism is critical to salvation.
The Bible says salvation is in Jesus. The catholic church says it is in the church.
Jesus saith I am the way the truth and the life; no man cometh to the father but BY ME. The bible says Jesus is the only way to be saved.
The true catholic stance is no one is saved without the catholic church. It doesn't matter if the majority of catholics do not believe that. This is official church doctrine.
Jesus always existed. Mary was the human vessel God choose and she said, "My soul doth rejoice in God my savior." She offered sacrifices in the temple as an obedient Jewish Girl. She knew she wasn't sinless. The Catholic Mary Mother of God is not the humble Mary of the Bible. The Bible said Mary had sexual relations with Joseph after having Jesus and had other children. See Matthew 1:25.
The Bible says when Jesus died on the cross IT IS FINISHED. There is no need to repeat this sacrifice and to do it again brings the Lord to an open shame. It says what Jesus did was not enough. Yet the mass teaches that the Priest has the power to pull Jesus out of heaven and re sacrifice him again and again in the mass. God is highly highly offended by this. Don't get mad at me, search this out. If you participate in the mass, you are highly disobedient to a holy God.
The Bible says we are to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Religion says it is a personal matter.
The Bible says there are only two places to spend eternity. Heaven and Hell. The Catholic church invented purgatory.
The Bible says it is the final authority and says let God be true and every man a liar. The Bible says God cannot lie. He does not change. Yet Popes contradict themselves and popes through the centuries have added extra biblical teachings contrary to scriptures. Catholics are expected to obey Pope decrees as God himself. That is blasphemous. The Bible says Call no man Father. The Bible says in 1st Timothy chapter 4 verses 1-3 about some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; ...forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats.
It doesn't matter what we believe, but it will matter if what you believe is true.
Imagine you and I were about to put our retirements in an oil company in Texas after watching many impressive seminars from their investors. They showed us impressive pictures of their building and offices. I traveled down to Texas and personally gained access within the company. I found it existed but when I went and looked around all I found were empty desks and everything was just for show . I did extensive research that is available to all and I found out that the company was completely fraudulent and there was no oil. Their claims were bogus and they were just stealing everyone's retirement money.
Now, if I knew all that, and I didn't want to talk bad about them and kept it to myself and let you send them your retirement would I be a nice guy? If I only said nice things about this company because I didn't want to make waves to those who are happy with the false security they have that their money is safe, would you respect that?
Yet, I am telling you that the catholic church is doing that with your eternal soul, and so are other religions. Mormon, Jehovah Witness, Islam, Hindu, almost All Protestant now, Episcopal, Greek Orthodox, and Lutheran.
I am a Baptist, but I find that most Baptists teach more tradition now than Bible. We have our own Popes in the sense of big name men and their interpretations are respected more than Jesus at times. For example, the Bible teaches salvation is faith and repentance but the Baptists teach that salvation is in a prayer, or calling on the Lord, or asking Jesus into your heart or going to an old fashioned altar and receiving Jesus as your personal saviour.
I am loyal to Jesus Christ. I care more about the truth than I do about staying right. I don't just give opinions or church traditions. I obey my authorities and I respect my church, but as soon as they diverge from the scriptures I no longer am listening. The Bible is my authority and I don't care what man says, how many men say it, how many "Good" men believe it, or how much what I say may offend. I don't want anyone, catholic or baptist or in between to die and go to hell.
Who are you loyal to? Christ? A Church? Or what you believe in your heart?

We can't trust our hearts. People follow their hearts instead of trusting the Bible and will end up in Hell. The heart the bible says is deceitful above all things. The Bible says there is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Most of this world is on their way to hell.
Most of this world is following a false religion.
Most of the "right" churches are a myriad of truth and sacred cow traditions.
Most "saved" today are still lost.
The majority is never right.

Yet, I am telling you that the catholic church is doing that with your eternal soul, and so are other religions. Mormon, Jehovah Witness, Islam, Hindu, almost All Protestant now, Episcopal, Greek Orthodox, and Lutheran.
I am a Baptist, but I find that most Baptists teach more tradition now than Bible. We have our own Popes in the sense of big name men and their interpretations are respected more than Jesus at times. For example, the Bible teaches salvation is faith and repentance but the Baptists teach that salvation is in a prayer, or calling on the Lord, or asking Jesus into your heart or going to an old fashioned altar and receiving Jesus as your personal saviour.
I am loyal to Jesus Christ. I care more about the truth than I do about staying right. I don't just give opinions or church traditions. I obey my authorities and I respect my church, but as soon as they diverge from the scriptures I no longer am listening. The Bible is my authority and I don't care what man says, how many men say it, how many "Good" men believe it, or how much what I say may offend. I don't want anyone, catholic or baptist or in between to die and go to hell.
Who are you loyal to? Christ? A Church? Or what you believe in your heart?

No, they drink water.
We can't trust our hearts. People follow their hearts instead of trusting the Bible and will end up in Hell. The heart the bible says is deceitful above all things. The Bible says there is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Jesus says wide is the path that leadeth to destruction.
Most of this world is on their way to hell.
Most of this world is following a false religion.
Most of the "right" churches are a myriad of truth and sacred cow traditions.
Most "saved" today are still lost.
The majority is never right.
Are you willing to be one of the few that finds the TRUTH no matter what the cost?
Or do you refuse to budge because you can't handle the TRUTH?

Journey to the Center of the Earth!
I wrote this for my original blog, ETVFC.blogspot.com a while back but wanted to post it because we were talking about hell yesterday and I thought this would have some helpful information. The greatest gamble is to say Hell doesn't exist. When you die you better have the right answer. That ultimately is the reason for this Blog. Hell is truth realized too late. Far too many people end up in Hell because they said, "I will get saved someday." Hell is full of people who were "almost persuaded to be a Christian" but to be 99.9999999999999% saved is to be 100% LOST. Don't mess around with your soul. If you find Jesus now, and seek a relationship with him, escaping Hell will be a fruitful by product. Don't just come to Jesus to avoid Hell, but let the reality of Hell motivate you to consider the Bible and read it until Jesus becomes real to you. Then 500 years from now you will be grateful you did. In the meantime, come to Jesus and realize no sin is worth going to Hell for, and no person or religion is either.
Blog--- Journey to the Center of the Earth
A movie came out in 2007 based on the SCIENCE fiction classic Jules Verne book of the same title. The premise is this -- Trevor Anderson, his nephew, and a tour guide "make a breaking discovery that launches them on a thrilling journey into the UNKNOWN. On a scramble to find their WAY BACK the group travels through a NEVER BEFORE SEEN WORLD encountering creatures and objects never imagined. Get close to the action, engage your sense of wonder and take your own journey to the center of the earth!"
Before I begin, the first thing you need to know is you do not want to go on your own journey to the center of the earth. Had Jules Verne rejected science falsely so-called and read his bible, he would have not had to imagine what is in the center of the earth. And today he would not be in the center of the earth burning and burning. Instead Jules would be wishing he read his Bible and not wrote a book that exchanged the truth of Hell for an action adventure your whole family would love. Just in the brief synopsis I quoted above, there are 3 major lies expressed.
Lie one is that what is in the center of the earth is UNKNOWN. It is known. Hell is in the center of the earth and it is a literal burning fire. Preacher John Wesley from the 1700's said, "Hell - the center of the earth".
Lie 2 is people came back from the center of the earth to live to tell about the fun adventures they had. You will not escape the damnation of Hell unless you repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ while on this earth. There is no such doctrine such as purgatory where when you are in the center of the earth for a while you get sent to heaven once your sins are purged. You will get out of Hell ONCE but only to face God on Judgment Day and then you are immediately cast into something far far worse, the LAKE OF FIRE. You will never ever leave that place. Get saved today. You could be in Hell tonight.
Lie 3 says the center of the earth is a never before seen world. Christ went there to the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights before he rose from the dead. He saw Hell.
In fact JESUS created Hell! Ephesians 3:9 says, God, who created ALL things BY JESUS CHRIST. Hell is part of ALL things. He died on the cross to make a way to escape the very place he created. He spoke of the horrors of Hell and He knew first hand how horrible it is. The living WORD who became flesh so we could escape the horrible pit originally prepared for the devil and his angels. Man sinned and God is so holy that he must eternally punish all sin. Jesus came to earth to die to provide a substitute for you burning forever for your sin.
God did not have to do anything but leave us helpless. We are fools who don't like the idea of Hell and think we are smarter than God so we come up with another way and another god. Most people in America know the Jesus of the Shack by their actions and deny the Jesus of the Bible. God the Father USED GOD THE WORD to SPEAK THE WORLD into existence. Let there be light, and there was light. Jesus made the ball of fire, the SUN, out of nothing. It is a million times bigger than the earth. That is power.
That should put some fear into you. That same Jesus is commanding ALL men everywhere to REPENT!
The apostle John saw the lake of fire when he was on the island of Patmos, through his visions in Revelation when God showed him the things to come. The earth is 8,000 miles thick. According to creationist and true scientist Henry Morris, the center of the earth would only need to be 100 miles in diameter to contain the billions and billions of lost people who were ever on this earth.
Every lost person who ever existed has seen hell. AND THEY ARE IN HELL RIGHT NOW, below us CRYING AND SCREAMING RIGHT NOW right under our very feet. Begging to get out. Begging you not to come. Begging you to consider the end and listen to a REAL PREACHER and OBEY THE GOSPEL! In Luke 16, the rich man died, and was buried, and "IN HELL he lift up his eyes, being in torments. For I am tormented in this flame." He cried. (Luke 16:24)
As far as I can tell, there were not active volcanoes in the middle east 2,000 years ago, yet the Bible describes a lake of fire which burneth with fire and brimstone. In a volcanic eruption you will find fire, sulfur and a lake of fire-- lava. Brimstone is sulfur (see Websters dictionary) and was how the bible described hell --- "fire and brimstone". Revelation 19:20 says, These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with BRIMSTONE.
Today's study is not going to look much at the difference between the Lake of Fire and Hell Fire. They are similar but located in different places. The lost are in Hell right now until Judgment Day. After the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-12), death and HELL were cast into the Lake of Fire. (Rev 20:15). Why? Revelation 21:1 says, for the first heaven and first earth were passed away. God destroys the earth when everything is said and done, and hell will perish right with it. Yet the LOST will live on in torments.
The watering down of the doctrine of Hell is one reason why America is headed for Hell. The Bible says the wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God. The main problem with America is this --- Surely the FEAR of GOD is not in this place. (Genesis 20:11). America has been doing it's own thing the last 100 years or so and it has no fear of God because the fear of God has been taken out of our country. NO FEAR is our cry. We don't fear any consequences for our actions, but God will punish all sin whether we believe that or not. Most Americans think of God as this jolly Grandfather of the sky, winking at sin, and saying HAVE IT YOUR WAY!
However, the fear of God was FIRST REMOVED FROM OUR PULPITS. Before LOST and SAVED alike feared God and society was contained. Just like removing the tooth of the law has criminals being more daring than ever, removing the fear of God unleashes the worst in mankind. Christians are in the closet and sodomites are out. Pedophiles are pushing for the same degree of toleration. They are taking the same steps the sodomites did, portraying themselves born just a little different and being the underdog deserving of acceptance.
Sin is now relative when you take THOU SHALT NOT out of the equation and the 10 Commandments from our nation. Now this country is spiralling out of control and getting sicker and more twisted every day. We are like an out of control mach truck flying down a mountain road with no brakes. Yet America's brakes went bad decades ago.
Most guilty are the preachers who quit preaching on the fear of God, the holiness of God, and the wrath of God. If you preach warm and fuzzy Joel Olsteen happy thoughts you will have happy campers warming your pew and they will be happy filling the offering plates. They want their ears tickled and most churches want their wallets padded.
Yes, God is love, but if you remove the Holiness of God and a fear of God and "trembling at his word" his LOVE is corrupted. It is likened to the judge in Colorado telling the Batman Murderer James Holmes, "I love you! Especially your red hair. Yes, you murdered 12 people, but I see your heart meant well. Look at all the people you didn't murder! Who am I to judge you? You are free to Go.". He would be a wimp and a coward and a corrupt Judge.
A loving Judge is a JUST one, a one who punishes to the full extent of the Law and not swayed. We think because God is loving and kind that he is a pushover and lets us live how we want. That is a false view of God brought on by decades of false teaching.
Until about 1950, it was accepted by Christians that hell was a literal place with literal fire. Compromisers like Billy Graham have come on the scene, and have deluded millions with false teachings like Hell is the grave, or Hell is a state of mind, or Hell is just separation from God. Modern Bibles change the truth about Hell for a lie. The NIV and New KJV use the words GRAVE, SHEOL, HADES, and death to replace Hell most of the time.
Dr. Peter S. Ruckman said, "Hell is down under your feet. There is no doubt WHERE HELL IS. It was in the heart of the earth where Christ went after he died. (Act2:31, Acts 2:27) The plainer words the Bible teaches on this is so clear you would have to go to the greek or hebrew to get rid of it." And that is what the scholars have done to cast a doubt on the truth of God's word.
America has lost it's fear of God as Preachers quit preaching on the fear of God. The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom says the Bible. Is it any wonder why common sense today has fallen out the window? The average high-schooler today knows more about getting to the next level in his video game than getting to the next level in life.
Americans do not think today, they merely parrot what the media and Hollywood and TV program wants them to say. If someone dares to stand out and speak against something that Hollywood or the Media love, then everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Chick-fil-A takes a stand against sodomy, and every pervert and politician and musician and movie star raises up and is ready for a fight.
Hell has been removed and the fear of God is exchanged for a lie, and the average Christian won't turn off the TV to do a single thing about it. America is going down the tubes because Christians care more about the TUBE than about TRUTH. Hell is TRUTH realized too late.
Evangelist and preacher Oliver Greene said, "Hell is a place, not a state of mind, and the terms used in the Bible prove this statement beyond any shadow of doubt." Hell is a real place. You can be cast into prison, or cast into a pool. Don't be cast into hell. You would be wise believing the Bible instead of a fictional piece of literature.
Journey to the center of the earth? Don't go there.
