Yes, the Bible says absolutely nothing.  Nada. Zilch.  My hope is not in a Pope but Jesus Christ.  A pope is just a man and to say he speaks as God's representative is blasphemous.  The Popes are exactly the same as the Caesars of Rome, just renamed and in new costumes.  The ultimate double cross is for someone to obey the Catholic faith their whole lives and think they are rewarded with purgatory while living loved ones pay and pray to get them freed.  They are there forever for purgatory does not exist.  It is Hell and that is the ultimate double cross.

There is no salvation apart from the real Jesus Christ.  Not the Christ of the cookie.  Not the Christ on the crucifix.  Not the Christ on par with "his Catholic Mother".   Jesus saves.  Catholic doctrine damns.  I feel bad for the Pope.  He seems sincere, but he is sincerely wrong.

What must I do to do the work of God?  Jesus is asked this in the book of John.  This is the work of God says Jesus, to believe on whom he has sent.

Salvation is repentance and faith.  Not penance and church works.
